Operation and Planning Support System for Murcia Tram |
DescriptionSince May 2011, the city of Murcia has its first tramway line. This line is composed of 28 stops and has an approximate length of 28 Km. The service is operated with 11 trams. Emte Sistemas, and in general, the COMSA-EMTE group among other contributions to the project, has completed the design, development, installation and commissioning of an integrated system for planning, management and operation of Murcia Tram. The system includes the following modules:
The support system is based on esTRAUSS, specifically int the modules:
The esTRAUSS hardware architecture for the L1 Murcia Tram is designed with a pair of server for real-time functionalies, and another pair for offline (Planning and Operation), arranged in a configuration that ensures operation in redundancy (hot-stand by). Since there is only one control center, both the main and secondary serves are installed in the same location.
